CENTRO VIRIDITAS Cultural Association

The Viriditas Association is dedicated to Hildegard von Bingen, the great medieval mystic and first psychosomatic therapist of Western Christian civilization. VIRIDITAS is a latin word meaning vitality, fecundity, lushness, verdure, or growth. Hildegard von Bingen used it to refer to or symbolize spiritual and physical health, often as a reflection of the divine word or as an aspect of the divine nature. The association studies and spreads information on the history of medicine and on new therapeutic approaches that include the contributions of Oriental medicine, humanistic and transpersonal psychology with the help of doctors, psychotherapists and scholars that have enlarged their knowledge to incorporate complementary and alternative medicine. The Association organizes conferences, seminars and training courses to empower the human potential and to disclose the holistic vision, the spiritual message of illness, natural remedies, the healing states of consciousness, the meditation practice etc.
