Amylon a.s.

Wheat is the most widespread cereal grown in the Czech Republic. The aim of our company is to use of each and every part of wheat in products, and thus to provide new quality. Starch is used for production of puddings, sugars, modified starches, and adhesives in our own plants, and for the production of spirits, vinegar, and animal feed in cooperating companies. Amylon semi-finished products are also used by companies producing candies, cereal bars, bread and pastry.

We contribute to food safety by complying with GMP and GHP principles, including the implementation of HACCP. Each type of product is produced to a different modification to meet the requirements of our customers. Our well-equipped laboratory participates in quality inspections of both raw materials and final products, as well as the development of new products.

Tradition and long-term experience have given us the opportunity to transfer our know-how on to computer programs which are able to control the production technology.

A high percentage use of flour means that only a small amount of waste finds its way to the municipal waste treatment plant.

The "Amylon" trademark is a symbol of the tradition of the Czech starch industry. In the course of more than 100 years, the "A" has reached more than 40 countries. We protect our trademark not only by law, but primarily by ensuring the good quality of our products and services.

Amylon a.s., major Czech producer & supplier of Bio-organic branded and private label powdered Bio-organic puddings; Bio-organic dry mixtures based on potato, flour, starch; Bio-organic kitchen mixtures and baking ingredients in retail and catering variety, registered holder of Certificate for Organic Foodstaffs by CZ-KEZ-01, German Bio-Siegel and IFS (International Food standard) Version 4 at Higher Level.

Division industry
Amylon a.s. is producer of organic food and organic raw materials in two independed divisions. Division organic raw materials produces organic wheat starch, organic wheat gluten, organic glucose syrups in different types, organic maltodextrin, organic spray dried glucose powder based on wheat flour. Industrial production is certified by CZ-KEZ-01.
