We at Bio-Backhäusle love good bread and aim at one goal: everyone should be able to bake bread like a master baker. That is very fast, goes without a professional equipment or complicated ingredients and is child’s play: just add water and oil and after a short waiting time, you’ll hold your self-made organic bread in your hands!
What makes our organic bread baking mixes so special are carefully selected ingredients from organic cultivation and recipes that are passed down for decades. The grain for our organic bread baking mixes is grinded freshly on our own stone mill, so that as many vitamins and minerals are left in the mix. Our organic bread baking mixes are free from colourings and savoury enhancers, artificial and natural identical flavours. In our production we do not make use of stabilizers, synthetic sweeteners and iodized salt. You can taste it with every bite!

Bio-Backhäusle – who we are
Bio-Backhäusle holds a long tradition. Since 1956 we bake bread of the whole grain. For nearly 60 years we produce organic bread in artisan hand craft. We were among the first bakeries in Germany to produce wholegrain bread specialties in natural organic quality, our recipes have been passed down for decades. Our long tradition of expertise flows into all our bakery goods.
We love good, original bread. That is why we produce bread the traditional way from master bakers in our bakery. The grain for our wholemeal flour is grinded by ourselves on our stone mill – as the name suggests, the whole grain is grinded with nucleus, seed coat and fruit skin. Our flour is then freshly worked in our bread so that as many vitamins and minerals stay in the fresh bread with all their power. Moreover, this process gives the bread its natural, characteristic aroma and distinctive taste.
