Our story starts in 1999 – the year in which Apeiron took over the sales of ayurvedic Auromère® herbal tooth paste. This saw the laying of the foundation stone of our product philosophy which is still valid today and for Apeiron the introduction to the fascinating world of Ayurveda began, which includes wisdom around 6,000 years old and which combines knowledge of the effects and processing of medicinal herbs and plants. In the course of numerous visits to Sri Lanka we gained an insight into the traditional methods of making cosmetics, about which we are just as enthusiastic today as we were then.

It is not in the number of ingredients that the secret of Apeiron natural cosmetics is to be found, but in the careful selection and combination of the valuable active ones. It is the skin itself which produces its best protection. This is why we do not use alcohol as a basic ingredient and why we use only the ingredients needed to give the skin a natural balance without stressing it. Traditional learning about valuable active plant ingredients, combined with the latest scientific knowledge – it is from this that we create such exceptional, sensual and effective cosmetics.

Our products are certified in accordance with the BDIH guidelines for natural cosmetics. They are not tested on animals, nor do they contain any synthetic colours or fragrances, paraffin, parabens or PEG compounds.
